MINING INVESTMENT TECH HELP

Surprised that a 68 year old prospector knows anything about computers? I may be the only person you have come in contact with in your lifetime who actually knows how to throw a diamond hitch, but I also could be the guru that could explain the confusion about online video to you, that quick.

How? Simple — both the old fashioned knot, and the modern twist, are tools. To view the virtual property tours online that are linked from this site, (the Property-Prospect-Showcase.com, Nepheline Project and the Alaska Silver Mining Claims project) you will need to have a Macromedia Flash Player installed in your browser. Do not let that “kid down the hall” impede this through an arrogance of jargon, perpetuating his job by seemingly being indispensable. This is just a tool. You can easily install it yourself. Just click through to www.macromedia.com/downloads and follow their easy to understand directions.

made on a MacThe videos on these mining claim virtual tours were edited and produced on a Mac computer

Both of these companies believe that a richness in our seamless business and personal life is best achieved by a win-win-win philosophy. You can trust that Macromedia and Apple have your best interests to share the information offered here in mind, as they recognize the needs of Information Age customers.

What has all this this got to do with anything? Well, just as I used to cuss having to load mules instead of steady and reliable mountain horses, I refuse to load any video that is as blame mule-headed as the Micro"something" video player. Obviously, my edge in computing is having been an Mac (&Murray) company since 1984. This means that I didn't have to ask how to turn on my sound, either.

Continuing on as a crank-a-dank character about Apple Computer Company, I think the story how Steve Jobs (“This is such an insanely great idea, lets share it with the world”) was removed from his Information Age company by Industrial Age businessmen to place a former CEO of Pepsi in control to satisfy short turn stockholder profits, will be taught at college level as the beginning of the end for the I-win-you-loose school of business. You heard about the nose-dive that followed? How Apple lost a lock on the educational market? And how the barefoot billionaire was asked to come back at $1 per year to keep the company out of bankruptcy?

Why am I going out about this? We happen to be a magazine offering information used to make investment decisions. Digital video is coming to the web, and the Macromedia / Apple connection looks to me the horses to bet on. Who ever heard of mules racing, anyhow?
